All air conditioning systems with a cooling capacity of over 12kw require a five yearly inspection, report and certificate. Although this is separate from the EPC, both are required by the same regulations.
If you are selling, leasing or renting a commercial building such as a shop, office or workshop where the air conditioning is present, discounts are available where both inspections are carried out at within the same visit.
